It seems like a lot of people here already have there chl in hand and have sent in there paper work after me. My status still says Processing Application. It has not yet been 60 day, only 53. Maybe I am to impatient.
What do you think?

Mailed CHL App... Jun 26
DPS recived App... Jun 29
Approved... Still Waiting
In Hand... Still Waiting

The renewals process a lot better than the 1st timers. Just give it time. Years ago - they too 90-120 days. Everyone is anxious, but it takes time.

I would call. Just ask and be polite, but call and question.

yeah I would call and be very polite and ask if everything in your application is alright. I used some excuse and called on day 30, my status changed to completed 3 days later.

Oh well... I called and the man who answer the phone said that everthing looks ok, the background check was fine, and finger prints had no problems. It was just the normal wait period that I am waiting on. He did not say how much longer the wait period will be. Oh well that is the great State of Texas for you... Slow.
