Prayers for the wife

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

Prayers for the wife

#1

Post by el_chupo_ »

Hello all!

Been off the forum for a bit, and life has come roaring in - but my wife is in need of some prayers. The short version is it appears she was mis-diagnosed as a child, taken off (cold turkey) medicine she has been on for 20+ years, and we spent 11 out of 14 days in the hospital, getting out on the 28th. Now we have a long battle of actually figuring out, and treating some seizure-like activity, a lot of anxiety and stress, and deal with lots of new doctors, appointments, and more. It's causing her a lot of distress as she is even questioning herself and personality due to side effects of being on mess since 11.

Any prayers are greatly appreciated as we start this new journey and healing process.

On my prayer list.

No doubt... an arduous journey ahead for you both. Please take solace in knowing you are not alone and that a Loving, Caring... Heavenly Father is aware of your circumstance.

Yes, we are praying in East Texas for you and your wife. Prescription medicine can really mess a person up, but God is always in control. Praying for strength in your faith also.

Peace of Christ be with your wife and you also. Withdrawing from some meds is brutal and takes a lot to overcome.

We will fervently be praying for you, your wife, and your family. Down here we have Practicing Physicians. The God of creation is the Great Physician. Just as Jesus walked the shores of Galilee we will be praying He will reach down and touch your wife's body.

Please keep us updated.
