In need of prayers please-UPDATE

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

In need of prayers please-UPDATE

#1

Post by RPBrown »

I normally don’t ask for prayers for myself but now I feel I must
3 weeks ago I tripped over my golden retriever and broke my forearm flattened (for lack of a better English term) 2 discos in my neck and pinched at least a couple of nerves. All was healing okay but still pretty sore and 3 numb fingers but getting better.
Saturday I woke up with a scratchy throat and all stopped up. Over next few hours I was getting worse so my wife started putting cold medicine in me but mixing with the anti-inflammatory meds made me sick to my stomach. I stopped taking the cold meds but got a horrible cough now. I have coughed so much and so hard that I have restrained all of the muscles I have been healing for 3 weeks. I can’t get comfortable and stop coughing at same time so not sleeping much.
Please pray for healing or at least find some cough medicine that doesn’t have a reaction with my other meds

Putting you on my prayer list.

So sorry to hear of your troubles. You've got to be miserable right now.

You'll definitely need to find a cough suppressant that will work with your other meds or ask your doctor what he recommends.

If you are unable to sleep...you'll get run down fast.

Try hot tea with honey and lemon to free up the congestion that's causing the cough.

Prayers sent for a complete healing.

You can also ask your Pharmacist for advice for something that will not interfere with your
meds. At least that wouldn't cost you another Dr visit.

I'm praying for you RP, but my advice is 'get thee to a doctor'! That cough could very easily turn into bronchitis, which untreated could very well into pneumonia, and that's not fun at all. It happened to me back in 1994. To me, what you describe, that just doesn't sound right.

RP, as one above, please see a Dr. I also see the high possibility of Pneumonia due to lack of full deep breaths.
Lord Jesus you are the only living God sovereign over all issues of life. You had compassion on the Multitude (Matt. 14:14) and healed them all. We, all above plead your same compassion on our Friend, RP Brown. We don't care if you use "over counter meds, the Drs. and prescriptions, or your presence and healing touch from your compassionate heart. We ask for healing in Jesus Name AMEN

Well, I went back to my doc and he sent me to a neurosurgeon. He did a CT scan and determined I didn’t Ned surgery but he did do injections into my neck and stabilized it with a collar. That was 2 weeks ago. Went back Friday and had the collar removed and everything is doing great. Still have numbness in 2 fingers but all pain is gone and he said I should get the feeling back in my fingers soon.
Thank you all for your prayers
