any one else??

Whether the need is great or small, there is power in prayer, especially when God's people raise their voices together.

any one else??

#1

Post by barnjoer »

My son & his wife were expecting twins due Feb 1st. At the Doctor visit yesterday, the Doctor gave them the bad news that one of the baby's was dead. What now?? Mon has to carry both as long as she can, that is another 5 months. Does any one know any thing about this kind of thing or know any one that has gone through something like this? My fear is Mom & the other babies health. What do you tell your child. My wife & I lost our first son, & have always prayed that our 3 sons would never have to go through something like that. Our parents did not know what to tell us 32 years ago, & I sure don't know what to tell them. Please keep them in your prayers. Thanks John

John, wife, children, rest of the family.
I moved this to the pray request forum. I assure you God has his praying servants on this board & you are going to be bathed in prayer for the next months. I know there are at least 2 on this board that are called of God to pray especially for the little children & they will be faithful.
I have been in the ministry for 37 yrs now I wish I had an answer for you & your children. The only one I have is that we will pray for you & your family regularly. Please keep us all updated.
Lord, please grant the power of your presents in the live of all John's family. You have promiced all of us a new body in the resurrection. This little child will have their perfect body in that day though never having one here. Give them comfort through our prayers & your Word is my prayer in Jesus Name. AMEN 1 Thes.4:16-18

John - our prayers are certainly with you and your family. I know this is a very difficult time for you, and especially for your daughter in law.

My daughter had exactly the same experience with her first pregnancy. One of the twins was not growing and eventually, at 16 weeks, they could not find a heartbeat. We were all very upset, but there was nothing they could do that would not endanger the other baby. She continued the pregnancy to full term (plus 1 week) and delivered a healthy baby boy who is now 2 years old.

barnjoer, I have a slightly different take on things......I believe God prepared you for this 32 years ago. You will
find the right words to help comfort your son and his wife. It sounds like there will be joy as well as pain in 5 months.
A time to celebrate and a time to mourn. Difficult times? Yes. But I also believe God has a plan. Lay the troubles into
God's hands. I'll pray you find the right words, as well as pray for your son and his wife.

You have my most sincere condolences.

I wouldn't tell the surviving shild anything for several years. Probably sometime before they were 10, though. I don't think they will be traumatized, by it. My wife miscarried two before our daughter was born. We told her that there must have been something wrong and God wanted them back to care for them.

Thank You all for the Prayers. You may be right in the fact that this all started 32 years ago. If our first son would have lived with the medical bills we would have had to pay we would not have had 2 more sons & adopted my great nephew 5 years ago. We know that life is one of Gods true mysteries. longtooth I don't have the words to tell you except Thank You very much for your Prayer for our family!! May God Bless All of YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! --- John
