Prayers for AndyC's wife

Andy said it would be OK for me to post this. I don't want to get into too much detail, but she had a small benign tumor discovered not too long ago, for which a basic surgical procedure was planned. Followup tests found a much larger tumor elsewhere. Subsequent MRI found what appear to be metastases in one lung, and again, another test showed disease in a lymph node in her chest.
All of these things have stacked up very quickly, and they are trying to stay ahead of the curve. She is due to have a lung biopsy shortly, and then they'll know what comes next.
When I told him we'd be praying for them, he said that every little bit helps, so if you all might join us in this, we pray for her doctors to have clear minds and gifted hands, and for her recovery to be quick, comfortable, and complete.

TAM, I knew some of this, but your post makes it clear this is even worse than I thought. I don't want to call & disturb Andy, so the next time you talk to him, please let him know I'll be glad to help with anything they need. Of course, they will both continue in my prayers.

A visit to MD Anderson in Houston is highly recommended for complex cases like this. I've seen firsthand that they do miracles there on a regular basis using techniques that aren't available elsewhere.
I have multiple friends and family members who went there in very serious trouble. They are alive and well today because of the leading edge medical care they received.
It is the most compassionate and efficient hospital I have ever visited, and some insurance plans cover the costs 100% because their results are so good.
It's an incredible resource way too good to overlook.
