A young man I know who is an East Texas Officer had to shoot a man last night while on duty. It appears it was a good shoot, but he had to go to the hospital because of anxiety attacks afterwards.

Please pray for him as his whole life just changed.

I hope he gets through this okay and is able to return to duty soon.

If his department doesn't send him, please encourage him to get counseling.

The Officer is in Christian Counseling now and will undergo a psychological exam before he goes back to work.

Yes Sir that is the shooting. The PD has made this public now along with a statement, but I will not post the link since it does have profanity from the body cam.

Prayers sent. Taking a human life is a life altering ordeal, even if its a bad guy. I hope he receives the help he needs and maybe you can pass along our support for him. I also pray none of us ever have to face that either. Hang in there man. Hang in there.
