What gear do I need to try out a 3-gunmatch?
I have an AR-15, Hi-cap pump shotgun, and several semi-auto handguns to choose from.
Does caliber matter?
What type of holsters, magazine holders, etc. do I need to participate in a match?
I don't want to drop a bunch of money on gear beforehand.
Just want to try a match and see if I like it.
Thanks

Although mag holders and such will make you more competitive in time, all you really need is what you have. Go and enjoy, and then if you continue start selecting carriers, holders, slings and other stuff according to your own style.
I have shot three gun for years and enjoy the heck out of it. I have even been known to compete using an M1 Garand, and even beat people using ARs and AKs, mostly because they didn't know their guns well.
