Although we brought home a couple of plaques, we were kinda hopin' that no one would find the scores.

Ah.....c'mon. We had a great time. I came home without trophy, but feel like we all shot a good match.

Yep, I have to agree. Great match, good stages, good lunch, very friendly people and
watching the jbird shooting through tear stained red eyes was a real hoot.

On one stage he was signing his score card with tears flowing down his cheek, and
the SO told him not to cry because he didn't shoot "that bad".

Truth is, I really felt sorry for him as he actually looked like he had been "maced", but
trooper that he is, he pressed on.

Folks, if he tries to recommend a new super-duper sunblock; don't get it. :nono:

I will start the bidding for one "almost new" can of SPF85 spray on sunscreen for $1. I had to put ice packs on my eyes when I got up this morning, but on the bright side......I did not get a sunburn!

Agreed! It was a good time spent with good folks! A little longer than it should have been but it was all good! Windy! My wife and I are still finding sand in places I didn't think could hold sand!

I had a good time too. Shooting with some good friends and meeting new folks is always fun. The Coastal Bend crew did a fine job! Looking forward to next year. Goals for next year...no procedurals and more trigger control.
