Best priced source for paper IDPA targets

#1

Post by CWOOD »

I have run out of my supply. It has been quite a while since I ordered them and was hoping that someone might have a good supplier.

The best I have found so far is MidwayUSA at about $41/100 deliverd (29+12s&h=41).

Thanks all.

flb_78, thanks for the suggestion, however I DID google it. That is where I got the MidwayUSA price after comparing ALCO, TargetBarn, etc. I was simply asking an informed group of shooters who might have a supplier with a better price.

I wonder if you could get them printed up locally. Shipping is what is driving the price up so high.

I checked on pistoleer, dillon, speedwell, brownells, idpa site. They're all close to the same, within a dollar of each other.

Long term, it might be worthwhile to investigate local printing but there are some drawbacks.

Firstly, one would have to work within copyright laws as no printer would want to get exposed to that can of worms. Then, there would be the very HIGH cost of a small batch job. In order to get the price within reason the printer would have to be persuaded to get into the business of selling them. That would be the only to benefit from the savings of scale.

Use this until you can get some more storebought.

Clever.

Barring any 'good deal' suggestions, I think I'll just order 100 from Midway and use 8" paper to practice COM shots in the meantime.
