Is this legal in IDPA for any division but BUG?

Nope. We got a definitive answer from HQ about this a couple of years ago. The Makarov is not IDPA-legal for any sanctioned division; the total dimensions have to be taken into account, and 9x19mm is the smallest allowable caliber.

Is 9x18 the same as .380?


Some lady got shot in the head with a .380 and still made tea.

Nope,.380 ACP is 9x17, or 9mm Short, or 9mm Kurz, 9mm Corto
