Central Texas 3-Gun Match (Copperas Cove - Sat 6/27)

Copperas Cove is hosting their monthly 3-Gun match on Saturday, June 27th. If interested, here's the information:

27 June 3-Gun Match

• 0730 - Sign In
• 0730-0800 - New Shooters' Orientation
• 0800-0815 - Shooters' Meeting
• 0815 - Hammer Down

Match COF

• Round count is 33 birdshot, 1 slug, 65 rifle, 37 pistol.
• No steel birdshot, magnum pistol loads, steel core, armor piercing, tracer, or incendiary ammunition are allowed.

Match fees:

• $20 for CCPC members
• $25 for non-members.
• Membership is only $15 per year.

Club Info:

• For those that don't already know, there is a little town between Waco and Austin that has a gem of a club called Copperas Cove Pistol Club. This group holds monthly IDPA, Action Pistol, and 3-Gun matches, as well as annual Single Stack and Action Pistol Trophy matches. A great group of shooters.

Also thanks for subbing as MD for Iron Mike yesterday at the Texas Tactical match. It was a well run and interesting match but gosh it was LONG>>>>>>70 shooters is A LOT OF SHOOTERS. Your efforts are appreciated. If we keep getting that many shooters, we may have to start using another bay to get the squad counts down.

By the way, I really like your scoring program. Great job getting them out so quickly.

Glad you had a good time at the match. Yes, 70 shooters, with around 30 of them new, makes for a long match.

You should come up and use all three guns this weekend.

Alas, work (which funds the shooting) is again getting in the way of life this weekend. It really looks fun. Good folks in Copperas Cove.

I highly recommend them to anyone who can make to Upper Central Texas.
