Saturday:
IDPA at Austin Rifle Club, Sign up starts at 9:00 AM. Hammer down at 10. Bring at least 100 rounds.
Sunday:
IDPA at Cedar Ridge Range Bulverde, Sign up starts at 9:00 AM. Hammer down at 10. Bring at least 100 rounds.
USPSA falling steel match at Austin Rifle Club, Sign up starts at 9:00 AM. Hammer down at 10. Bring at least 150 rounds.
Bring plenty of sports drinks to stay hydrated. The IDPA match has water coolers in every bay. The USPSA match does not. I drank a gallon each day last weekend and should have had more.

Sorry I missed yet another one - too much RE work to catch up on after spending a week in CHL instructor school.
Gonna get out there soon.

Thanks Dave.
Yeah, it's amazing what happens when you shoot consistently, and not have the usual one stage melt-down like I normally do. I actually missed all the non-threats this time........

Yes, you can come out and watch, just have to sign-in (waiver), and make sure you have eye and ear protection. There is shade available to watch from.
HOWEVER, I DON'T RECOMMEND WATCHING. You'll regret it, and you'll wish you were shooting.
Bring your pistol, a holster, and two mag holders and come shoot. New shooters are very welcome at the matches, and you'll get plenty of advise/pointers. So come on out and have some fun!!!!!

I'm going to try to make this Sunday's Texas Tactical match, but I'm on Daddy duty in the morning and doing the ARC range orientation in the afternoon.
I can't wait to get started in IDPA/USPSA. They both look like a lot of fun.
