November WHIDPA Multigun Match AAR & Scores

#1

Post by Bob Wolff »

Special thanks to:
Mike R & David S for SOing
Said for signing us up
Kelton C for setting up and taking down the long range targets
To all those who helped set up and take down

Remember this is a group effort and cannot be done by one person, your help is appreciated by all

Weather started with many people driving through rain, but it was worth it as the weather only got better and better.
25 shooters today, with several new shooters. All shot safe and are more than welcome back. I believe from the smiles all had a good time.

Some observations:
• Saiga shotguns work better with a charging handle
• Back-up iron sights always come in handy when your optic dies
• Alvin and his AR pistol shot pretty good especially the long shots at 19.19, well shot
• Good to see all the representatives of the USMC in attendance and showing no mercy on each other
• Seems like the clay hostage targets were well received, although a few hostages were "lost"
• Please ensure your equipment is up to 3 gun, lost a loaded firearm out of a holster
• Seems we have gotten several "previous new shooters" hooked

The results:
Low points down goes to Kevin S (who I believe was a new shooter, but obviously experienced!) who shot the match clean, well done.
Overall match winner Mike R, once again job well done, congratulations!

Remember the evil duo of Mike R & David S will be your Match Directors next month, play nice with them!
