Anyone shot IDPA here before? How's the setup? I typically shot out at Elm Fork and was thinking of checking it out. I assume you have to stop at the main building before the match to pay up your fees before going to the range. Can anyone fill me in?
Thanks in advance.

If you are talking about the match this Saturday it was going to be at JPGC. It got canceld due to the weather (the mud actually). As far as the money is concerned, the CCIDPA crew collects the money at the sign up area for both the range and the match. The match for Sunday is still a go and that one is at NTSA.
As for the setup what you need is:
Handgun (Concealed-carry guns only - No competition-type guns1)
Hip holster
Three magazines or speed-loaders
Double magazine pouch, two single mag pouches, or two speed-loader holders
150 rounds of ammunition2
Eye and ear protection
Cover garment (Not always required, but bring one)
If it's your first match they will probably let you slide on a lot of stuff as long as it's not a safety issue.
Come on out, you'll be safe, pick up on new things and have fun.

Well, that saved me a drive out there!! I guess I saw Greenville and assumed it was at APG. Thanks for the wake up. Guess i'll be missing the match. It's a bit far to drive. I typically go to the matches at Elm Fork. It's withink 30 min or so from the house. Guess I'll have to be satisfied with a little indoor range time this afternoon.

Glad I was able to help ya out. Elm is like ten mins from my house but I can only shoot on Sunday and they are mostly shooting USPSA on Sundays now. So I started shooting with the CCIDPA group. They usually have matches both Saturday and Sunday so it makes it easier for me to have a consistant schedule. If you can come out some time on a Sunday come check it out.
