We shoot matches like this up in Collin County. We call them "Shoot what you carry" matches. It gives us a chance to put down the gamer guns and shoot our little guns.

Glad to see more matches like this, they are great fun!

I know there are a few handguns that feed through the top with stripper clips but I didn't think they were common in IDPA.

Just another reminder about this match. If you have a BUG or Revolver that you normally don't shoot, HERE is your chance to dust it off and put some rounds through it in a fun and safe manner.

Just a heads up.....one scenario has a water balloon in it :smilelol5:

Come, have fun, shoot safe and YES......we will let you shoot those semi-autos even if they are not a Back-Up Gun.

Want to shoot different guns in the match.....yep, just another $10.00 and you can have twice as much fun.

Thanks to all that came out. It was an interesting match. It was a hot day, but shooting a filled water balloon at point blank range before engaging other targets did help cool things off "rlol"
The runner seemed to challenge as did the swingers. Many shot two different guns so they got to try out different systems that either don't get much range time or are back up lines of defense.

Results are up on the WHIDPA website (far right- July 31)

Thanks to all that helped set up and tear down.
