Fun match tonight. We almost got in 6 stages but the backstop fell apart in the right side bay. We had to throw out that stage and quit using that side. Hopefully they'll fix it before the 4th Sunday match.

I think we had about 20 shooters. I shot the whole match in slow motion, at least it felt that way. The scores weren't tallied up on-site so I haven't got a clue who did what. My 1911 ran 100%, Jaybirds.

ScubaSigGuy made a surprise appearance too! :thumbs2:

I can neither confirm nor deny that accusation. What I can say, is that if I was there, and I am not saying that I was, my front sight apparently was not. Darn black paint... that's what I heard anyway ;-) .

You didn't shoot yer Tactical Tupperware?
sure was sorry I missed it, but had to watch that abysmal performance in OT by the Cowboys...

sure wanted to shoot something after that!

what happened with the back stop? no ricochets, I hope.
FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.

I blame Wildscar for my absence! Hopefully my co-worker (Shane from the matches) gets in the mood to reload some .40 cal for me :), so I can come out and play more often. Darn price of ammo is keeping my skill level at a low (and the DPS has got me waiting at day 95) or it could be my multitude of hobbies lol (Harley, Guns, & Scuba).

Does anyone know if the backstop has been repaired yet?

I just sent an email to the DAPS Secretary to find out. Thanks for the reminder. :cheers2:

The wheels came off the bus tonight. Or, according to one person, I was hit by the bus. "rlol"

Fortunately, or unfortunately, :headscratch It was all captured on video. I'm praying for a lightning bolt to hit Wildscars pc if he tries to upload it.

Despite my mental and mechanical issues tonight, I had a great time and it was great to spend time shooting with friends.

On chance man. My PC is shielded from lighting bolts. :coolgleamA:

Sorry you has a bad night but I do want to thank you for your tips on a few stages. Maybe that was the problem, you passed on too much of your talent to me. :cheers2: "rlol"

But to all I had a great time tonight.

Talent had absolutely nothing to do with what I did tonight. :rolll Besides, it definitely wasn't a bad night, I had a great time. I think I forgot what game I was playing a couple of times though. Definitely need to stay more focused on the stage descriptions. Shooting USPSA has got me making it up as I go.

I am glad that you found some tidbits you can use among my ramblings. Not sure if you noticed but you had the 2nd fastest raw time. :anamatedbanana

I must thank you as well for your pointers and advice! Still being rather new to IDPA (and shooting for that matter), you and all the regulars make it a fun experience. It is great to know I wont get picked on for my shooting :p. Stage 1 certainly got me... even with the extra rounds down range :p. I am always a bit excited for the first stage.
