DAPS IDPA at DFW Gun Range.

Might need a compound acronym for all of those.

I just wanted to give a good mention to the guys and gals of DAPS. They ran another good match last night. Even had one stage where you had to switch from your hand gun to a carbine to finish out the stage. That was a blast. Also Age-ranger got to break in his new PX4 and he hasn’t lost a beat. He did real well. I’m getting better also. With a little more practice I’ll be able to rank up there with Age-ranger one day.

Special commendations go out to Jackie. Again she had the scores posted on their site before I got home. They are defiantly a great bunch of people.

If anyone out there is looking to get into competitive shooting then this is a the group to look into. A+ in my book.

Forgot to mention this part. One of the Glock shooters came up to me after I shot a perfect round to hand my mag back to me and asked what I was shooting. I told him Beretta 92FS and his reply was " I hatem but you seem to shoot em good. Nice shootin." I said thank you and he walk away shakin his head. There might have been only 2 Beretta's there but everyone knew who they were.

It was good to be shooting again. Haven't shot a match since October? Definitely missed the people and the range time was good as always. Looking forward to more trigger time in the near future.........scores were posted promptly (thanks!) and the raffle afterward for goodies was a nice suprise. See you at the next match!

Is anyone, per chance, going to the match this Sunday, June 22, at the DFW Gun Range????
FWIW, IIRC, AFAIK, FTMP, IANAL. YMMV.

I haven't been able to make it for a couple of months, but yes, I am planning/hoping to be there on Sunday.

Well, everyone with DAPS put on a great match last night. very safety conscious, and fun. stages ran quick, although the range was benevolent enough to not turn the air on :grumble
I was afraid I would drop my gun, my hands were so sweaty!

anyway, I personally had a great time, and look forward to the next match.

We had another great IDPA match with Dallas Action Pistol Shooters at DFWgun. We got in 5 stages and were done before 9pm.
Check the club's schedule for the next one. http://www.dallaspistol.com/DAPS/

Next time I not going to wait as long to shoot.

No kidding, that guy was blasting away. His raw time was darn fast but he didn't hit anything that counted. :eek6
