Jan.17th at the Terrell Rifle and Pistol Club ( http://www.tr-pc.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; ) will hold it's first IDPA match of 2009. Setup starts at 0700hrs. signup at 0800hrs. first rounds down range at 0900hrs after the safety briefing. As always your match fees include drinks and lunch, looks like a good cool to cold day so bring a coat and hat. All new shooters are welcomed young and old, so come on out and have a great time.

I was thinking I might give it a try this weekend... I'm running out of excuses -- but you never know I still have time to back out!!

Bonus Stage, I think Roy P. has something in mine he told me to bring my shotgun. But if there is enough folks who want to hang around I might fix up a fun stage. Dress warm, and come to have a good time.

We had 35 shooters show up, first rounds down range at around 0930, with 5 stages we were finished by Noon with everyone inside the warm clubhouse haveing lunch. If we can get 35 shooters and guest and onlookers to show up on a cold day in January, we should have 50 shooters on the warm days ahead. The Club is looking in to adding at least 2 more tactical pistol bays so in the future we should have 6 to 7 stages per match.
Thanks to everyone who setup and tore down the stages along with all the ROs and Scorekeepers. And all the ranges was picked clean of Brass, hope everyone had a good time. If you haven't tried IDPA come on out we have a great Club and we're proud to show it off.
