Story Title: GLOCK: The Choice of Champions (A story of the Glock in IDPA)
By Massad Ayoob

Page 39 Last section on page titled:

Popular, Successful at All Levels

It's not just the lofty-shooting champions who appreciate GLOCKS. I've had the pleasure of shooting with the Collin County IDPA group, who are enthusiastic ambassadors for the sport. With many highly accomplished competitors among their own ranks, the Collin County group goes out of their way to make IDPA welcoming and fun to new shooters. Here's part of what they have to say in a portion of their website called "The Best Equipment for Shooting IDPA." http://www.ccidpa.org" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
It was written by J.D. Morgan, who said , "For those readers who don't own any gun and wish to buy one in order to try IDPA, I'll step out on a limb and make a simple recommendation: Buy a used GLOCK 17 or 19 in 9X19, a Comp-Tac http://www.comp-tac.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; holster and dual magazine carrier and shoot that gear for a few months while you develope your own opinions and preferences. The GLOCK pistols are quite popular in IDPA , and what GLOCKs might lack in beauty , they make up for in reliability. Plus, you should almost certainly be able to sell either at little loss should you decide it's not for you."

Note: J.D. Morgan is Collin County's webmaster and long time BoD member. He has written most of the extensive information available on our website.

Thanks to KD Hedge for noticing the article and bringing it to my attention.
