I've shot 3 of these matches so far and I've got to tell you, this is the most fun I have ever had with a handgun.
If I had to pick the match I like best out of all the IDPA, Steel and USPSA matches that I shoot, it would be the TAW (Tuesday After work steel match).

By the time I go to bed on a Tuesday evening, my jaw hurts from smiling ear to ear for so long. Seriously, if you can possibly make this, you should. It's worth making extra effort to get there, even if you don't live close to the range. I drive 40 minutes in heavy traffic and would drive twice that if I had to.

I hope to see you there!

Gary

I had a ball at the match this evening. If you missed it, you missed out! 24 shooters got a lot of steel ringing. It's a beautiful sound.

I'm looking forward to next Tuesday to do it again. :woohoo

Another GREAT steel match last night at DPC. If you haven't made one yet, you're really missing out!

+1
I went to see what it was all about so really didn't prepare for it. I didn't shoot as I didn't have enough mags - I would have had to be perfect on every shot to make it on 2 12rd mags - not likely (yet).

I hope to get the minimum equipment needed real soon and will be back. Looked like lots of fun. :fire

Another awesome match created by Mr. Speer. My parents were visiting from Vegas, came and watched and were very impressed with how safely everything was done.

It's going to take a least another hour for the adrenalin to wear off. :hurry:

Thanks, Steve!

Wish I had been there. How do you take the HEAT 104 with a factor over 112. To much for me!
