Research Paper for Composition Class

HI All - I am one of the many using the new Post 9-11 GI Bill to attend classes at UT San Antonio. This semester is Freshman Comp and I have a research paper to write. Figured I could kill 2 birds with one bullet.

I am interested in the different types of competitive shooting. Can anyone give me good book sources discussing the different aspects and rules of IDPA, IPSA, LMNOP, etc (I made up LMNOP but don't know what the other letters stand for either).

IDPA (International Defensive Pistol Association) information can be gleaned at: http://www.idpa.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

LMNOP at: http://www.lmnop.com/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; but I can't imagine why you would include it.

These are the mail action pistol shooting organizations. There are a bunch of marksmanship (static) shooting competitions as well. The NRA has quite a few.
