Which PX4 Storm type???

Let me ask this question,

If you were to compete in IDPA and were going using a Storm as you weapon of choice, which type would you use? I believe the Storm comes in the following types:

Type F: Single and double-action. Decocker. Manual safety.
Type C: Single-action-only ("Constant Action"). Spurless hammer. No decocker. No safety.
Type D: Double-action-only. Spurless hammer. No decocker. No safety.
Type G: Single and double-action. Decocker. No manual safety
(from wiki)

With all the holstering and safety checks that are necessary shooting IDPA, I'm not sure which would be best. The Glock users seem to have an easy time with it and I'm curious if, lets say, using a decocker/safety is too much work in IDPA.

Most likely, Type F or Type G. My Sub Compact is converted from Type F to Type G.

Thanks Beiruty!

Anyone have experience with the Type C?

I've never shot IDPA and I'm not quite as familiar with their rules.
I do shoot USPSA (IPSC). Types F and G are on the approved list for Production class. Any other version and you'd have to compete against the race guns in Limited or Limited 10.
I know you asked about IDPA, but lots of shooters compete in both sports and select a pistol that can be used in both.
