Steel Challenge

#1

Post by TxGun »

New guy just getting started. Can't run, kneel etc.,bad knee's. Looks like Steel Challenge is the way to go. My questions are....where can you practice steel targets? where can you practice the different stages of the steel match. where can you practice your draw and fire? Live in Houston area. I have notice that PSC and Orange has monthly Steel Challenge matches is there any other locations? Do you just show up and go through the safety instruction and then commence to go through the stages? Thanks for any help.

PSC has a Steel Challenge the second Sunday of every month. Get there 0800-0815 to go check in, over the rules and help set up. Hammer down is as close to 0900 as possible.

Orange has their steel challenge on the third Sunday. Lots of folks shoot it with a .22 there. Lots of fun and cheap shooting.
