March WHIDPA Multigun Match Scores & AAR

Wind, did anybody notice the wind!!!
Yes the day was great, but that wind added to the challenge.

First, thanks to Dale C, Kelton C & Allan C for stepping up to SO/RO
Thanks to CCC & Fred for the range and set-up (yes you too Bruce).

Had 27 shooters and 5 stages.
Stage 1 : 4 pistol poppers (not close shots) enroute to rifle with 5 steel targets (plates & mini poppers) from 125 to 211 yds
Stage 2: pistol plate rack (with some small plates) then from platform 6 steel plates ranging from 165 to 485 yds. Wind was a big influence on this stage.
Stage 3: Rifle, weak side and strong side 4 plates each from 99 to 199 yds
Stage 4: Jungle run , start with 80 yd slug shot then 10 poppers scattered in the trees, transition to pistol with 8 steel plates hidden in the trees and bushes.
Stage 5: Start rifle, 90 yd 12" steel plate, then 6 paper targets (10-20 yds) then transition to shotgun 90 yd slug shot, then 10 poppers with 5 rabbits mixed in.

Some observations:
• .308 was a good choice for the match
• Sometimes you just have to admit that that last plate is just adding time....
• Rabbits are harder than they look when empty
