DPC RWG match 03/27

#1

Post by DFWTT »

Did anyone else get to the tactical match at DPC right at 10 this Sun? I got there and they were already in the back shooting stages. I was somewhat bummed being as I had just driven all the way from Arlington and would have been there early had DOT not shut down the entire 114 / 121 interchange. Did they fill up and start early? On that note, with the increased fuel prices and fee increase it is not as convenient for me to travel over there as frequently but I am having trouble locating that type of practice closer to my neighborhood. Any suggestions?

For future reference, If you get there late due to unforeseen circumstances, and everyone is already in back shooting, just fill out a match release card at the clubhouse, get your gear on and ready at a safe area, and go on back to the shooting bays. Ask anyone to point you to a match director and they will get you set up with a squad for you to shoot with. Sometimes setup goes too smoothly and shooting may start early (rare).
be safe,
be prepared,
