If you have never done anything like that, you should take a look at getting started with IDPA and/or USPSA. Both sports started with pistols, which are a lot of fun, but have since grown to include 3-gun matches.lrpettit wrote:Is this some kind of competition? How does a 13 year old get these skills? Just taught by family? NRA courses? Please educate someone new to this!!!
Yep. Check out the rifle at the first of the video.C-dub wrote:This isn't your standard 3-gun match, though, with a full auto rifle, is it?
Laws that forbid the carrying of arms...disarm only those who are neither inclined nor determined to commit crimes... (Jefferson quoting Beccaria)
... tyrants accomplish their purposes ...by disarming the people, and making it an offense to keep arms. - Supreme Court Justice Joseph Story, 1840
I caught that, but why is that allowed at this event? I thought the firing of a full auto was highly restricted. I hope that is a special event because, if not, I don't have the right kind of rifle for 3-gun then.Keith B wrote:Yep.
