This is one reason home carry is so important even after you have your plastic & are able to carry out. You will get used to it.
Put it on.
Cover it up.
Leave it alone.
No one will know.

Eventually, you won't be able to feel "dressed" without it, and THEN you will feel paranoid whenever you have to leave it at home.

I felt the same way when I got mine. I am used to open carry when I was in the USCG so this is a big change for me. It has been a couple of months and its getting better. No one will notice, and even if they do, if you are covering it up then you are doing nothing wrong.

i do carry at home lol (i know im going to get bagged on but mind you didnt start making decent money till i joined the millitary, kind of ironic now i think about it) anywho my mom would get irritated cuz id carry around the house. she never saw the need for it.
edit im sorta of used to open carry as well being in the millitary but my 16 is a tad larger than a pistol lol

It will get to the point, after carying for a while, when you will feel naked and paranoid as all get out if you are not carrying.02transam wrote:i feel paranoid as all get out when i carry. lol i dont know what it is. i feel like everyone can see my pistol even though they cant.
There will always be prayer in schools as long as there are tests.

After awhile, you don't feel fully dressed without it.

It's hard to believe but true.
Less than 30 days after my plastic arriving I now find myself having to turn around as I walk in to work to go and "strip" at my car.
I'm expanding my carry repertoire to see how I like carrying IWB, OWB, Pocket. I'm considering getting the Com-Tac Two O'Clock to try AIWB carry.
I used to window shop Firearm For Sale posts I now go shopping in the Hosters & Accessories with more interest.
