Took my class yesterday at the Burleson Handgun Academy "The Shootin' Place". It was a good experience. Great job by Burleson PD/SWAT officer John Brackett. The reading I've been doing on here over the last few weeks taught me much of what I heard yesterday too so thanks to all of you for some great information.

Welcome to the family! Just try to forget about the wait (if you can), practice, and get used to carrying at home in the same fashion you plan to on the street after the plastic comes in.txproud wrote:Took my class yesterday at the Burleson Handgun Academy "The Shootin' Place". Thanks Skiprr. I'm going to get a holster ordered so I can get used to it like you said. I figure I'll use my waiting period to pay attention to the places I go throughout my week to notice 30.06 postings.
