I applied for my chl last July and just received my card last week. Found your site by accident while at the gun show in Houston this weekend. My choice of weapons for carry are a S&W 40 cal and a Walther PPK 380, both stainless. I took the class with the Walther and shot 247. I love the gun. Don't like polymer bodies. I'm a machinist and have prejudices against plastic anything. I've machined it all (stainless, plastic, steels, iron, and material most people have never heard of) and no matter how good it sounds, it's still plastic. Maybe I just don't understand polymers. Give me stainless any day. I know how stainless wears. Haven't started carrying yet, but keep it in the car with me. Also, I don't go into Houston unless absolutely necessary. It's nicer in the country. (And safer)
