First time out

#1

Post by RiveraRa »

My first time out with my CHL wasnt much of a story.
While I was waiting on my plastic I had previously carried my BT380 IWB (Crossbreed Supertuck) at my house with many friends and family over. My first outing was to my local HEB. Since I had carried in front of people before it wasnt a big deal.

Yesterday on the other hand, was the first time I had carried to church. I play guitar on our worship team so I had to do some bending over to get gear set up and tore down before and after service. I played on stage (lights shining right on me) at 2 different services with about 200 or so people at each (plus how ever many people were watching online that day). I hugged and shook hands of many people. The only person that knew I was carrying was my wife.

All that to say, my mind is now at ease. If no one noticed yesterday, they will never notice. ;-)

You will be shocked at how little people notice.

Wait until you are at your sons little league baseball game and the coach asks you to warm up the pitcher while the catcher gets his gear on. Of course a fellow CHL'r will know and possibly an LEO IF he's looking for it. But to the rest, its a phone, a Blackberry, a knife, a Leatherman.... Anything but a gun.

Don't worry about it. Just carry with pride and don't forget a good belt.
