New CHL Son + 7 others

Post by troglodyte »

My son turned 21 on Thurday and passed his CHL course today. :hurry:

Seven more friends and aquaintances also passed the class.

Get out there and "recruit".

I know some of you maintain the Cone of Silence and won't let anyone know you have yours. To each his own.

While I don't advertise, I don't hesitate to enlighten those around me when the topic is convienent.

The school I teach at is well above the State CHL avg. and the congregation I attend is about double the State avg.
It just takes a little conversation.

Congratulations troglodyte! I know he made you proud! :tiphat:

I don't advertise the fact either, but willingly share my knowledge if the conversation comes up and initiated by someone else I know. ;-)

Good deal, congrats to your son and the 7 others.

I agree with not advertising, but if someone I know, (ie care about) brings up the converstation, I dont hesitate to suggest they pursue a CHL. I would feel terrible if something were to happen to them and they do not have the means to defend themselves, and couldve obtained a CHL but didnt because of a lack of knowledge on the subject.

Just my $.02
