S/W/M 46yo, Italian... Oops! wrong site "rlol"
Finally re-repatriated to Texas in 2010, and found this forum while doing CHL research. I'll be going for plastic very soon (been working crazy night shifts) and really appreciate all the info I've found here. Originally, born and raised in Tampa, Fl (the 'Gunshine' state), but fell in luv with TX while stationed in San Antonio (ARMY not Air Force) in the 80's. I always threatened to return, and finally made it to DFW. Now that the ex-wife problem is solved, I'm able to restock the armory, and get back to shooting. At present have a Ruger SR9c, intended for EDC, Taurus PT1911, 92 & 917, and a Colt LE6940 AR-15, of course! :fire I've practiced enough to pass the qualification test right or left handed, however this is the first I've shot since having to wear glasses, and I'm not as 'tight' as I used to be. After the Army, I worked 'private security :coolgleamA: ' for 13 years. Ironically, a few weeks before finding this site, I used a 'Wally Walk' scenario while discussing personal security with a buddy at work, to illustrate the difference between 'predator' and 'prey' in threat assessment. I hope nobody at Wally World reads this site.
I'm looking forward to many happy years here, and Thank You All for the great (and entertaining;) info posted. Hopefully I can post my 'Wally Walk' soon.
God Bless & Be Safe!

Thanks for the warm welcome. :tiphat: Just completed my CHL class today (10/15), scored 98 & 248, and L1 scheduled for 10/19. I was concerned about wearing glasses, but once the adrenaline started to flow, I don't even remember aiming as the RSO said 'Fire'. Everything just worked (like its supposed to ;) Will mail package 10/17. Hopefully, plastic in hand by the end of year. :anamatedbanana Watch out Zombies!! :fire
