More than fancy toys, I would suggest that you first invest in a LOT of ammo and the range time to shoot it. Put a couple of thousand well-practiced rounds through your carry piece and you'll be further ahead of the game than people who haven't spent a lot of trigger time.guntotinpreacher wrote:My question is, what are the things I should invest in to go along with my concealed carry gun?
Just as importantly, even more so, get in a good defensive handgun course that teaches you more than how to send rounds downrange, at a paper target, while standing still, with no worry of rounds coming at you. Outside of that, practice shooting two handed, one handed with your strong hand, with your weak hand, from the hip, point and shoot, on your back, on your tummy, while moving, and so on. Practicing drawing and shooting after having done so ad nauseum using snap caps.Jumping Frog wrote:More than fancy toys, I would suggest that you first invest in a LOT of ammo and the range time to shoot it. Well done Sir. =)guntotinpreacher wrote:As far as a conflict resolution class, funny that someone should mention that I would benefit from one. I am actually taking one this semester at seminary!
