The most significant cost of acquiring your CHL is that you have to be willing to forfeit a hot temper and a chip on your shoulder.

I've even become a nicer driver. Even though I have ample hornet spray, there is no need to stir up the nest.USA1 wrote:You got that right. Van Zandt County. I should Clarify that the local Sheriff had one of his deputies giving it free to residents. Not the actual Sheriff himself.AEA wrote:That's interesting.......what County?Ipconfig wrote:Class = $0 ( Local Sheriff Teaches it free)

This type thing deserves it's own thread since it's in the news todayTaurus.40 wrote:The class I'm taking is $50 plus $2 for the range. It's pastor/ DPS officer putting the class on. He say's he'll get more people to take the class at his price. He's also doing free classes for teachers and school officials, which I think is very nice.

Thanks for all of the info. I am lucky in that I'm a easy going, mild tempered guy, so I won't need any changing there.daveboyd wrote:The most significant cost of acquiring your CHL is that you have to be willing to forfeit a hot temper and a chip on your shoulder.
