tong409- The 1 1/2" belt is a common size for gunbelts, so it shouldn't be a problem. That said, I am not too keen on holsters that are secured by clips.

Link - I like the IWB. It conceals better, offers better protection against a gun grab, and easier to shield against accidental bumps in the mall. Two locations I suggest are around 3-4 O'clock or appendix carry. If you can borrow different holsters and give them a try that is a big help. A Milt Sparks summer special, leather arsenal, or Kramer strong side hip IWB is a great start. Make sure to get the loops that fit your belt size, it really makes a big difference.

Please don't tell me that I need to wear clothes that are too big for me to conceal my guns. I'm not going to get bigger pants and bigger shirts.
I don't want to look like some thug walking around with my pants sagging down around my knees and my shirt 5 sizes too big so that it looks like a dress.
That's why those punks started dressing like that...to conceal weapons...then it became a fashion statement. That's ridiculous.
I want concealment that blends with my current dress. Having to buy new big ass gangsta looking clothes to cover my gun is out of the question.

Your clothes do not have to be that much larger. Just for information those "punks" started dressing like that because that is how their Prison Uniforms fit. Nah...no need to buy G-Wear! The only thing that really needed to be changed in my case was my gunbelt. I got a belt with a couple of extra inches so that I could let it out 2 holes from my "normal" spot when i drop my IWB in.
I'm 6'2" 215, wear Wranglers and Polo type shirts most of the time. The belt was the only thing that needed changing in my case. My jeans will give a little to allow for my SIG, and XL shirts cover it just fine without looking sloppy. Looking "squared away" never hurts in case of an LEO encounter either ;)
I have never given a serious run at wearing an OWB, but I'm sure it would take a little more shirt (or one of those "HEY I'VE GOT A GUN!!!" vests) to effectively cover your firearm.

admittedly....I tend to think in a "Gun Culture" frame of mind, but I have yet to meet a photographer that actually wears a "photographers vest".

It's not so much that you have to buy giant baggy pants for IWB, as it is that your jeans need to have a little extra in the waist. With OWB your shirts have to be a little roomy. Try sticking a bar of bath soap in your waist band, that's about how thick a G26 with a holster is. Your pants can't be too tight or you will be uncomfortable all day. Glocks aren't the thinnest of guns, if you are completly unwilling to make some sort of compromise in dress, you may find it tough to carry.
