Don't worry, I will be leaving it in the truck. I was at the rehersal and one of the family members noticed my NRA sticker on my truck, and we started talking and he will be carrying and said he will be there the entire time I am loading and unloading, so there is nothing to worry about.

I would not dream of doing anything to hurt the cause of getting our gun freedoms back. As for looking into getting a CHL, I did look into it 6 months ago.
