This is only one man's opinion, but I do not like to list what guns I own. I used to do it, but read some good advice about not letting that little bit of information out there for just anyone to read.
Of course, if you read all of my posts, you will be able to piece together a list. That simply means I need to go out and buy some new guns and then try to not brag about them. Good luck to me!

Wow. That was awesome!RPBrown wrote:Welcome to the forum and to the world of concealed carry.![]()
I have a little advise for you that I have tried to pass along to others just my .02:
(1)When you send in your papers. DO NOT keep checking the DPS website for changes to your status. The changes that are made on the website are usually a week old. I have seen cases where they had plastic in hand before the site changed to manufacturing.
(2) You will go crazy and start checking it every day if not 2 or 3 times a day. Think I'm wrong, look at some of the posts from the others that are or have gone through it.
(3) while you are waiting, start to figure out what carry weapon and style of carry works best for you and then carry around your house to get used to having it with you.
(4) In the words of a good friend on the forum, carry 24/7 or guess right
(5) Be safe

Longtooth was my instructor
I'm waiting for my CHL, and checking the website, but only maybe twice a day.
