I just took my CHL class at DFW Gun Range last Saturday and the quotes all throughout the book were classic, does anyone know where I can find the list of them? I didn't write them down since I thought I would be keeping the book.

What book?
Do you mean the "The Texas Concealed Handgun Laws" booklet?
If so, then try

Not the law book, but the handout that goes over the class material on top of the laws. It also had a chapter for non-violent conflict resolution and others such as that. There was a page of various quotes at the end of each chapter.

That had to be something your instructor had for his personal teaching style.
You might ask if you could have a copy.

Well, no.
My instructor also handed those out, for us to read while the other half of the class went to the range (class was in Galveston County). The booklets were annotated, "Not to be removed from class" or words to that effect. DPS probably doesn't want to bear the expense of supplying a booklet to every student who wants one.
We should suggest, en masse, that the material in the booklet, be made available for study or download on the DPS web site.

LarryH, did you take ElGato's class?

I looked far and wide for a "pre-study" guide and found nothing. that was before I sat for the class and realized how simple it is. It actually concerns me that it IS so simple. I would think there would be a different target too, that was a huge area for scoring, maybe I'm just reliving qualifying in Basic Training or something.
I may call my instructor and see if I can get a copy of just those pages, some of the quotes were awesome (like the one in my sig line).

DPS does not supply lesson plans to instructors. They only supply an outline of the requirements that must be taught, along with some suggested resources.
Instructors put together their own material, although there is a lesson plan that has been published by the CHL Instructors Association. That may be what you saw.
This is why classes vary somewhat from instructor to instructor.

I remember those books from ElGato's class. There was some reason we couldn't copy it, but I don't remember the reason.

I believe that they were copyrighted material.

There's no official DPS student guide for CHL classes. Ask your instructor for a copy of his or her book.

I thought it was funny that there were Biblical references in there, which I want to make sure they were not taken out of context and use some too
I'll shoot him a message and see, all I want is the 4 or 5 pages so it should be easy to handle.
