Texas to Arkansas Travel

I travel frequently from TX to AR, and when travelling, would like to stow my pistol in the console rather than keeping it on me. I have read Arkansas law, and it appears to forbid carrying in your car's console even if you have a CHL. Anybody have any clarifying info??? Thanks.;

Welcome to the forum. I travel to and through Arkansas a few times a year. I always have kept it on me for those rest area stops. Didn't see that you couldn't carry in console at this link. But that was just a quick check.

I lived there with TX CHL for several years (student) was stopped twice with gun hidden in car, and I declared with my id, , , cop did not care. I am unaware of such law. But don’t clam to be an expert.

I am also unaware of OK law other then can’t have 2 on you. . . and i needed that tid-bit to get to AR.
