Are you a Victim of a Prepaid Legal Services Scam
Being new to CHL and awaiting my license I've been spending a lot of time reading all that I can about the many topics that are necessary to understand. One of the topics I have come across is prepaid legal services. I read much on internet blogs about the suspicion that there are scams out there. Law suits have been filed by many customers who claim that when the time came to take advantage of the service that had been paying for (some had been paying premiums for several years) the services were not forthcoming. Have any of you had a first hand experience being defended by a prepaid legal service? If so, would you please relate your experience.

Re: Are you a Victim of a Prepaid Legal Services Scam
I am sure that there are blogs about the suspicion that there are scams out there. I have never read about any lawsuit from a dissatisfied customer, nor have I ever read anything from a satisfied customer. Since CHL-related shootings are rare and CHL-prepaid legal service customers are even rarer, it's not too surprising that there aren't many [any?] actual documented testimonials.psehorne wrote:Being new to CHL and awaiting my license I've been spending a lot of time reading all that I can about the many topics that are necessary to understand. I use CHL Protection Plan http://www.chlpp.com" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false; 877-219-8488. Seems legit to me. Only cost me 400.00 for 5 years of coverqage. Covers legal exspense 100% except for civil case if you killed someone but the family was to come after you for that. Thats taken care of by Castle Doctrine.

Has anyone actually used the coverage? If so, what was your experience?
I've read stories indicating that many folks have paid premiums, some of them for several years, and when the need arrived to use the service the company was not forthcoming with the stated protection.
