CHL Address question

I seem to remember reading about this a while back but cannot remember for sure. My CHL address matches my driver’s license address, but I have moved for school. The address on both of my licenses is my permanent address so I do not need to get them changed right? Where I am now is just a temporary address for a year or so.

Oh I forgot to add that the temporary address is still in Texas.

That is correct. As long as you have a permanent adddress, you do not have to change your license address when you are away at school.

Yup. As usual, C.F. is right on. It's the "permanent address' thing that's all important. And that's the address DPS wants.

School is temporary. Home is.....permanent.
