ElGato is great, my wife and I were in his class last Saturday.
he makes an 11 hour day (including lunch of course) very tolerable. I learned a lot and came home and jumped on here to "continue learning"

Hi there and welcome to the forum. I took my class from Tom and had a great day, even though I almost froze on the shooting range and inside the classroom. Tom had told me to dress in lawyers (12/19/09) as the class room went from one extreme to the other. I never did feel the hot extreme, and it sure would have been welcome. It was supposed to have been 67 that day so I wore a short sleeve top with a denim jacket (no lining), jean and boots. I think they had the a/c on in the whole building and the wind was fierce on the shooting range. I was shaking so badly trying to shoot my 50 rounds I am surprised I passed that part of the course.

But I finally found a spot to warm up, outside the classroom, a spot between the actual classroom door and the outside doors. This was at the end of the day when Tom was grading the written test part of the course. Was a long, but thanks to Tom, a very enjoyable day, aside from the frostbite I incurred.

When it comes time for my renewal going to see Tom again.

Thanks everybody
SS, you should be proud of yourself, sounds like you passed bootcamp

, I think I would have went home and came back in June, I was just asking yesterday what people did in bad weather?? Foul weather gear and gloves I guess.
It was a pleasant day yesterday but standing in the sun was wonderful, today is a different story and I was glad to be inside.
