OK, I have been lurking for a couple weeks and finally had to just register and get on with it! This is the most informative site out there and I appreciate all the info!
I'm brand new to CHL, thought about it for several years and finally am doing something about it now. Online app and all paperwork has been completed and submitted. . . will be taking the class in the next 30 days.
Can't wait to suffer through the "waiting room". . . .

what are your thoughts on the Ruger P85? I had one about 10 years ago and really liked it. . . traded it for a shotgun that I really liked even more and still have. . . now my friend has a P85 and asked me if I wanted to buy it from him. . .has the wood box it came in and 2 extra clips. . .I'm going to pick it up today and hopefully have time to shoot it this evening. . .I remember my P85 wasn't that much to look at but I'm not interested in pretty guns anyway, just wondered how easy it is for IWB carry and what holster yall would recommend I look at?
thanks in advance for the opinions!
