CHL and DL Don't Match

My CHL arrived today!!
The address on the CHL has "Ave", but the DL does not. Also, the CHL has my full middle name, but the DL has only the middle initial.
Will this cause me any problems?
Thanks.

If you're OCD it will bother you every waking minute.

No one really answered the question. Shouldn't be a problem at all.

Thanks Keith.
And, I did get a laugh on the OCD comment.

Someone posted a story elsewhere that they had to endure the NICS check while buying a firearm because there CHL address said "CR" and the DL had "CIR" after the street name

As a CHL holder/Instructor, I will say that it doesn't matter. All the information is the same, just listed in a slightly different way (no middle name vs. initial, address is same just doesn't list Ave.).
As a FFL, I will say that it doesn't matter. The story referenced above about the CR vs Cir. really shouldn't make a difference to the FFL. The FFL doesn't keep a copy of your license, nor does it keep a copy of your CHL. You have to show the FFL that you have a Texas residence (DL), and then the NICS is eliminated because of the CHL. A minor wording, like not having 'Ave.' would not be an issue with us. And, plus, how is anyone who could get the FFL in 'trouble' (ATF) going to know that there was a minor difference between the two types of ID? My personal opinion is that the FFL went overboard when it gave the CHLer a hard time.
So, long answer short, no, it shouldn't make any difference.

I could maybe see that being valid in a city like Atlanta where every street is named Peachtree, but not normally. I think it was a paranoid sales person at the gun store. I am like gigag04 and would have walked on that one.

Me too probably, I wish I could remember the thread. It might not have been this forum

That's nothing. In 1990, Baby Shasta's birth certificate lists Shasta Cougar, Jr. as the father because the records clerk took the info from our drivers licenses. In 1992, a much less diligent records clerk (at the same hospital) put down Little Coog's babydaddy as Shasta Cougar (no suffix.)
