I moved back in Texas about nine months ago

, having lived in other states for the past 25 years. I recently sent in my CHL application, providing my previous addresses in California

for the past 10 + years, prior to moving back to Texas. I lived in San Antonio for seven years, but that was about 25 years ago, so it did not show on my application.
My question is, "How will this affect the processing of my application, time wise?"
Am I at the mercy of LA and San Mateo County in CA to respond to inquiries from TXDPS?

There is be nothing in my background to stop the application (as far as I know), but I'm wondering just what kind of background checks are done and who is contacted?
