The above link is to a detailed examination of multiple handguns that women tried, and commented upon.

Many times women will get the usual "buy a snubbie in .38" kind of advice. Not always the best gun.

This involved study found a variety of different handguns that women preferred.

Some of the top choices were a Sig P238, a Walther, Springer EMP in 9MM, and many others,
some with nice illustrations.

My wife is considering a new pistol, and plans to start looking by trying out the ones listed in that article.
