Female instructor in the DFW area?

#1

Post by HighVelocity »

A buddy of mine is looking for a female firearms instructor to teach his wife basic skills. Eventually she wants to get a CHL.
Any recommendations?

My daughter took a course about 10 years ago from a lady named Cindy Jones. She was located in Rowlett. Her course was titled " Handgun Course for Women". It was srtictly taught and attended by women only.
It was a great course for her. She now has her CHL and is very proficient with her firearms.

Yes, txinvestigator recommended someone and I passed the info along to my friend but I do not know if his wife followed up with the info.

Female CHL Instructor

Post by Crossfire »

Just in case you are still looking, I am a CHL instructor in Fort Worth. I am also an NRA certified Basic Pistol Instructor. I am very patient with new shooters (we all had to start somewhere!) and I always enjoy having other women in my classes. I teach at The Shooter's Club on NE 28th in Fort Worth about 2 Saturdays a month. You can check on their website, http://www.theshootersclub.com, for the latest class calendar. Happy shooting!

I am always looking for instructors. I am the training director at a range in Dallas. Send me a PM if you would like to talk.
