Worse would be to miss and hit a bystander, then have your 250 target introduced as evidence that you don't miss even under stress, so it must have been intentional.

Does the State say you have to start the qualifier with the 3 yard plan???

I'd almost like to see it start at the 15 yard point and work your way in closer...Might make for some interesting results...

Just an early morning thought...

The way it's written in the law is the way it's pretty much done. http://tinyurl.com/qwnag

The only leeway is at (1)(d)(b) (B) ten rounds will be fired "Two Shot Exercise"; three seconds allowed for each two shots;

That's where there is the deviation from the standard 5 shot loading. Either 4 then 6, or vice versa. Or accommodating a shooter with a 5 shot revolver.
Ø resist

Take away the second first, and the first is gone in a second.

Not sure how to post the picture. I took the class today and shot 250 on a rented Glock 19. Only had one issue, a casing flew up and down my shirt. . It was warm. The instructor noticed my fidgeting. I was able to shake it out and continue. Excellent class. The instructor, facility and my fellow students.

I shoot revolvers. Until I find SA I want......

they didn’t even tell us our score much less take a pic of the target! It was just pass or fail. They said it was for legal issues...

Lawyer: "Wow, you shot a perfect score. If your such a good marks man, why didnt you just shoot the gun/knife out of my clients hand?" or “Why didnt you shoot them in the arm/leg, to just wound them?

I would have to tell the intelligent lawyer that shooting targets and shooting at idiots like his client is two very different things. Targets are not trying to cause me harm.

I didn't save mine from my requal, I dropped two points and was not proud of it, but here's my wife's perfect score (using the old target.)

This is the reason I no longer own an XD9. :lol:

And considering her remark "I don't think I can live in a house with guns." the first time she came to my house fourteen years ago, I think she's done pretty good.

Shot a 249...put one low in the belly to see if the target would bend over...it didn't.

249/250 The flyer was at 3yds :oops: Quick question, are you supposed to start each string at low ready position? That is what I did, but I noticed the group after me was starting on target.

You might be right, common sense has almost become extinct.
