Another renewal letter in the mail today...

#1

Post by stevie_d_64 »

"Wife Unit" got hers in the mail today...Complete with "PIN" number, reference number if she needs to call them...

Maybe they are getting it together these days...

We are going to try to see how the online process works...

And hopefully we'll get the renewal "packet" of stuff she needs for her class...

This is going to be easy to calculate, Her B-Day/expiration date on her CHL is the first day of the month this summer...I'm going to make sure her class and packet are completed and mailed off to Austin 90 days before it expires...

I think thats a good buffer to make sure nothing lapses before that day...

Good idea.

I wasn't able to make time that far in advance this renewal (did last time), and I have been unable to carry since Dec. 23rd. Makes you feel kind of naked.

I checked the status of my form on-line recently and even though they've had it for over a month, they don't even show it as received yet. I hear they are still running 30-40 days behind. So, looks like I'll be "without" for quite some time still.

I hate feeling naked...

And everything I can do to make sure Austin keeps it together, I'll do it...

And to think she'll be on the 5 year plan this go around, makes me jealous...

I don't have to renew mine for another 1.5 years...

Probably,

But I'd have to heat it up in the oven every morning before leaving for work. A cold shotgun against bare skin is not the way I want to "wake myself up".

A hot one either... come to think of it.
