Another Burgler Down
I just caught the details of another home owner shooting a burgler while robbing the owners home here in dallas last night.
Is it just me paying attention to these kind of stories after purchasing a handgun 2 months ago and now taking my CHL class after a 10 year hiatus or does it seem that the bad guys are losing out more and more?
Maybe I never paid attention prior to my new interest or maybe things are taking a swing against bad guys.
What do you guys think?

Just heard some beautiful words come from a LEO's mouth while being interviewed about the elderly man in Dallas shooting a home invasions burglar:
"...luckily he (the home owner) had a gun."
Apparently in this case, bird shot in the face was enough to stop the threat.
I think I'm sticking with 000 buck and .40 S&W

I have no numbers or statistics to back this up but I'd wager this kind of self protection has always been going on but historically the biased, liberal media chose not to report it. Today there are so many more ways of getting information it's being made public more often.
